Smoke and Mirrors
Half the Truth
Jenny isn’t telling you the whole truth—she’s lying through omission and counting on you not to dig into her finances. Behind the polished image are two money pipelines: Jenny Willford for Colorado, her Candidate Committee, and The Willford Leadership Fund, a Political Committee. What’s troubling is that she has funneled money from her Leadership Fund into her own campaign, a tactic that may circumvent campaign finance laws and raise serious ethical concerns regarding Jenny Willford's campaign finance practices.

Prohibited Payments
In Colorado, candidate committees are prohibited from making contributions to the candidate themselves, as this would violate state campaign finance laws. Specifically, under Colorado law, candidate committees are categorized under 'Contribution Acceptance Limits' as prohibited—indicating that they cannot contribute to the candidate's own campaign. This prohibition ensures that all funds within a Colorado candidate committee are treated solely as contributions intended for campaign purposes, rather than as contributions from the committee. The October 28, 2024 Jenny Willford campaign finance initiative exemplifies this principle.
